Theoretical Insight (45 min): Dive into Stanislavski’s life, his artistic breakthroughs, and the
foundations of his method, illuminated by his exchanges with Nemirovich-Danchenko and
Antone Chekhov. Interactive Practice (30 min): Engage in exercises that demonstrate the
system’s application and the training of Eastern European actors. Open Dialogue (15 min): A
Q&A session to deepen understanding and mastery of the system.
This session explore how the filmmaker Mr. Jiri Trnka who is known as the ‘The Walt Disney of Eastern Europe’ was able to exploit the potentials and limits of traditional Czech theater puppets, from a cinematographic perspective, by making them a unique and powerful form of language, which still remains a major influence in contemporary Eastern European animation.’ He is renowned for his short films and animation films where he made it into the Cannes Short Film of the year of Zviratka a Petrovsti in 1946 itself!!
‘Master Class on Editing -Shaping Characters’ provides a thorough examination crafting the characters through the technique and practice of film editing. Through experienced coaching and hands-on demonstrations, participants learn about the intricacies of editing processes, narrative principles, and the importance of editing in the creation of cinematic stories. This masterclass will provide aspiring editors with the information and skills required to construct engaging storylines, govern pacing, and evoke powerful emotions from viewers via the smart use of material.
“Dissemination of Shorts: Penetration, Reach, and Exposure” investigates the tactics and issues associated with disseminating short films to viewers. The speakers investigate strategies for increasing the penetration, reach, and visibility of short films across several platforms and channels.
