Eligibility

International Competition - Films made in India or abroad between 01 January, 2024 and 31 December, 2025 are eligible.
National Competition – Films made in India by Indian citizens between 01 January, 2024 and 31 December, 2025 are eligible.

  • One film can be entered in one competition section only.
  • Films entered/screened in earlier MIFF editions are not eligible.
  • Animation feature films, TV/OTT content are not eligible.
  • Film can be entered by producer/director holding copyright.

Best Documentary Film Rs. 10 Lakhs + Golden Conch + Cert.
Best Short Fiction Film (up to 45 mins.) Rs. 5 Lakhs + Silver Conch + Cert.
Best Animation Film

(Cash prize shared between Producer & Director)

 Rs. 5 Lakhs + Silver Conch + Cert.
Special Jury Award
Most Innovative Film Rs. 1 Lakh + Trophy + Cert.
(2) National Competition

  • International competition is open to all.
  • National competition is only for Indian citizens.
