Film Synopsis

Pushed to the margins of the wedding celebration they make possible, a group of migrant brass band players waits in a corner of the city while the ceremony unfolds without acknowledging their presence. The film observes their patience and stillness, attending to the structures of visibility and invisibility that organise the social world around them and determine whose contribution is seen.
