Film Synopsis

The film follows women of an indigenous Lepcha family across generations as they sustain their inherited tradition of weaving - simultaneously art, identity, and expression. With quiet intimacy, the documentary observes the weaving and dyeing process while exploring how women within the community carry forward a sophisticated ecological knowledge system. All materials are locally sourced and eco-friendly, reflecting a way of making inseparable from the surrounding landscape.
