Film Synopsis

Set on the fringes of a growing Maharashtra city, the film observes the last day of Shankar - an ageing bull who, after serving the nomadic Nandiwale community for over two decades, is being sent to a Gaushala. Interwoven is the story of his old caretaker Anna, who brought Shankar to this settlement 25 years ago. Through long takes, silence, and textured soundscapes, the film meditates on displacement, fading tradition, and the unspoken bond between humans, animals, and a way of life in slow dissolution.
