Film Synopsis

Deepa Didi is set in the shared but never simultaneous world of a Mumbai apartment. Abhi moves through it in a rush; Deepa, his housekeeper, arrives after he has gone and finds in its emptiness something he never notices. The film is a quiet study in parallel loneliness. Two lives that occupy the same space without ever quite meeting, and the understated ways each leaves a mark on the other.
