Film Synopsis

The film documents the folk arts of the Thakar tribe of Sindhudurg district in Maharashtra's Konkan region - a community whose rich artistic traditions, including Chitrakathi painting, puppetry, Radha Naach, Gondhal, and Pot Nritya, are fast disappearing. At the centre is the family of Ganpat Sakharam Masge, working to preserve these endangered forms. The documentary presents folk art as a vital medium of social memory and cultural awakening.
