Sonamai is one of many young women who found a new direction through the Skilling of Adolescent Girls initiative under the Ministry of Women and Child Development's SAG Scheme, implemented in partnership with GIZ and Kaivalya Education Foundation across PM Utkarsh districts. From a region where opportunities for girls remain limited, her journey illustrates how the programme builds digital literacy, financial awareness, and vocational skills - expanding confidence and opening pathways toward greater independence.
