Film Synopsis

Silver' takes audiences deep inside Cerro Rico, a mountain in Bolivia that has consumed the lives of miners for centuries. Director Natalia Koniarz follows the dark corridors of the mine where workers sacrifice their health and lives for shimmering ore. A portrait of poverty and exploitation among the residents of Potosi, the film won both the jury prize and Audience Award at the Krakow Film Festival, and distribution is handled by the Krakow Film Foundation.
