Film Synopsis

Shared Table' follows a small, diverse group of filmmakers on an improvised road trip across regional Victoria, visiting four unsung migrant heroes who open their homes and kitchens. What begins as a quest for connection becomes a deeply personal journey into stories of leaving home, carving space in unfamiliar lands, and feeding identity through food and memory. Along the way, the filmmakers question their own purpose, wondering what the film is really about.
