Film Synopsis

Panthal (The Tent)' begins with the death of Pathrose, a stern patriarch whose passing is met with an unsettling absence of grief from his son Bright and wife Rebecca. As the community erects a funeral tent, Bright's unusual behaviour and an overheard conversation with his mother generate rumours. The neighbours, led by Sandeep, become convinced that Bright induced his father's heart attack. The tension culminates in a confrontation during the funeral rites that brings the community itself to breaking point.
