Film Synopsis

High in a Himalayan village, young Nyingma holds tight to her father's promise: once winter passes, she will go to school. But the season ahead looks harder than most. Poor harvests, an unforgiving weather forecast, and little certainty that the family can get through it. The film follows Nyingma on the edge of a lesson that no classroom teaches. The moment a child first understands that hope and reality do not always meet.
