Film Synopsis

In Sualkuchi, Assam's celebrated weaving town, young artisan Shakuntala tends her loom and her ailing father with equal devotion, even as poverty tightens around her and the slow encroachment of mechanisation threatens to erase the Muga silk tradition she has built her life around. Beside her is Jatin, whose appetite for something faster and larger pulls in a different direction. The film is a story of heritage, love under pressure, and the cost of staying true to what one believes in.
