Film Synopsis

Memories of Home' is a meditation on the old stone and mud houses of Ladakh, built for centuries from locally sourced materials and designed to harmonise with the mountainscape. The director returns in memory to his grandmother's now-abandoned home, reliving childhood moments spent there. Confronted by the realization that such houses are no longer being built, he wonders whether they will vanish entirely.
