Film Synopsis

The film traces an extraordinary living knowledge tradition rooted in the Sharada Manuscripts of Kashmir. It follows Brahmins from Himachal Pradesh who journeyed to Kashmir to learn the Sharada script and, on returning, evolved their own localised form of wisdom - the Pavuchi Manuscript tradition. In a small village in Sirmaur district, this complete Vedic knowledge system known as Sancha Vidya continues to thrive, with households safeguarding manuscripts dating back to the 15th century.
