Film Synopsis

In Mumbai, a middle-aged Maharashtrian housewife endures her husband's chauvinism and the relentless tedium of domestic labour. She finds solace in rich fantasies. When her husband returns with misogynistic colleagues, she imagines serving them pakoras made from her own brain. These flights of fancy are her only escape from a monotonous daily rhythm she bears, unnoticed and uncelebrated, like the city's local trains. The film is a dark, wry portrait of domestic life and the interior worlds women build within it.
