Film Synopsis

Birju, a sixteen-year-old from rural Uttar Pradesh, finds his truest self in 'Launda Naach' a traditional performance art his father once practised and has since forbidden. His only ally is a landlord's daughter who stands beside him against the ridicule of his peers. When a powerful man invites him to perform at a wedding, the honour conceals a devastating betrayal that the village will not easily forget.
