KHARVAN' is a mixed-media documentary blending live-action and animation to explore the coexistence between smooth-coated otters and the ancient Khazan ecosystem of Goa. These human-engineered wetlands harbour extraordinary biodiversity and deep cultural heritage, yet face urgent contemporary threats. Through a narrative weaving together wildlife, local tradition, and conservation, the film tells a compelling story of ecological harmony and the pressing need to protect the species and communities these ecosystems sustain.
