Film Synopsis

Going Solo' follows Gareema Shankar (44) and Renu Singhi (58), two women from privileged but conservative Indian families who discovered endurance cycling after years constrained by traditional expectations. From 10-kilometre rides they have grown into long-distance cyclists covering 100 kilometres at a stretch. The film follows their most challenging test yet: the London-Edinburgh-London (LEL) ride, 1,500 kilometres in six days, as they battle sun, wind, terrain, and their own inner doubts.
