Film Synopsis

Three children living with serious medical conditions, Phil, Ida, and Emily, spend much of their lives navigating a routine of appointments, tests, and hospital stays, isolated from the freedom of ordinary childhood. Through drawing, each preserves access to a rich inner world of imagination. The documentary uses animation to enter these private landscapes, revealing the vivid lives that persist far from the clinical realities around them.
