Film Synopsis

Ashok Singh is a migrant stone-breaker living on the fringes of Pyang village, unsettled by the sudden death of a neighbour whose precarious existence closely mirrors his own. When his brother-in-law calls with a request that his body be transported home to his native land upon death, Ashok is confronted with the full weight of displacement. The film explores what it means to live and die far from where one belongs.
