Film Synopsis

The film traces the life and legacy of Devika Rani, the first recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and co-founder, with husband Himanshu Rai, of Bombay Talkies Studio. Through Bombay Talkies, Devika Rani acted in socially engaged films including 'Achhut Kanya' and mentored talents including Dilip Kumar, Ashok Kumar, and Madhubala. The film examines her enduring influence on Indian cinema across past, present, and future.
