Through the story of shepherd Balu Mama and his flock, the film uncovers the deep cultural, spiritual, and ecological roots of Deccani wool in India's pastoral heartland. It places a living heritage against the backdrop of a rapidly indifferent modern economy, and poses an urgent question: can ancient shepherding wisdom find relevance before it disappears entirely?
