Film Synopsis

Idrees Babu, a marine biologist from the coral Lakshadweep Islands in the Arabian Sea, left for the mainland to study in the 1990s and returned to find his home ecosystem under serious threat. Rising ocean temperatures, intensifying storms, mining, and heavy boat traffic are destroying the coral that sustains island life. Idrees and his locally trained team run a coral nursery and travel across islands to advance their conservation programme.
