Film Synopsis

An uneducated woman with few resources plants nearly four hundred saplings along a bare, sun-exposed road, tending them over years until they grow into a canopy of tall trees sheltering thousands of travellers along a modern highway. When authorities propose felling the trees to widen the road, she confronts the Chief Minister of Karnataka directly and secures their survival.
